How many cars use/used the Mitsubishi GS platform?
That's a lot of cars using a very not great platform.
I can't believe the Evo and Caliber have platform relation.

Don't look at it like a list of cars with a single dated platform, look at it like a list of cars that can be easily Evo swapped.

how interchangable are the parts on these cars? Could you make a super sleeper jeep compass by putting an EVO X under it?

I'd assume sharing the same platform and all, everything very well might bolt right in with little modifications.

the patriot is not a bad car if you dont think of it as an off roader. that being said, evo swap it and lower it and suddenly you have a 5 door short wheelbase evo wagon

Platforms are shared, but subframes are not, I would guess. So while it does share the same 'platform' the engine mounts, body panels, suspension configurations, interior shape, etc. are all radically different.
